How do I place an order?
Welcome to Born in Paper Shop. Once you find what you are looking for, click on that item, add the quantity, then add to the shopping cart. The items you choose will appear in the cart. Once you have finished shopping, proceed to check out. Here you can review your items, you can add or increase the quantity of your order before the next step.
Payment and Shipping
Once you are ready to finalise payment, enter your personal details, address, and contact details. Shipping method that we use is Australia Post. You can choose to pay Express Post or General Post. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your item has been posted, along with your receipt of purchase. Payment through this website is through PayPal.
Returns & Refunds
Should you not be satisfied with your item of purchase, please contact as soon a possible. A refund or exchange will be will be offered if the item has not been changed, or tampered with. Items are to be returned to us before refund will occur.
I would like something not listed in your store. Can you make it?
We are able to make a number or personalised items. We can create with you, that special invitation, we can design and print wedding stationery, or provide papers that you can turn into your own invitations, cards or books. If you would like something custom made, talk to us, we are happy to help create what you're looking for.
FAQ - WORKSHOPS
What sort of workshops are available?
Workshops for everyone. From Introduction to Paper Making: This workshop is a great start to learning to make paper by recycling office waste paper, mixed with flowers, cotton, or anything that will add a natural texture to the paper.
Expand your knowledge to emboss your papers and seeded paper workshops: create wedding or special occasion invitations, including seeded papers. Use paper pulp to create book covers or wall art. I also run school workshops on request.
How do I book a place? Is there a cancellation policy?
Head to our workshop page and see what's coming up, fill in our contact form with your contact details. Payment can be made through our shop page. Cancelations: Should you need to cancel your booking, a full refund is available up to 7 days prior to the workshop date. Cancelations within 7 days of the workshop event or on the day will result in a loss of 50% of the booking price. Should cancelation be due to unforeseen circumstances, the course can be carried forward to a more suitable time.
Can you create a workshop just for me and my friends/colleagues/classmates?
Make it all about you, have your own workshop - children's parties, friends or colleagues who all would like to make paper, we can plan it for you. Have a wedding coming up, we can help you make beautiful papers, print Velum inserts to wrap your paper around, close it with wax seals, romance is truly handmade paper.
What is included? What do I need to bring?
All workshops include all the materials you will need to make sheets of paper that you take home. You will also be given a hand-sewn recycled notebook, take notes, you may even come back for a workshop learning to make your own handmade paper hand-sewn notebooks. Wear comfy clothes and footwear, and all you need to bring is you.
